It is a big square area for tech design. They will add cork to the walls so we can pin stuff up.We will also get shelves. June and Stacy moved in last week so I am way behind.  And nobody is all the way in due to missing stuff. But still, it is cool.

long vest only needs to be hemmed and maybe some trim at bottom. I think I may put white toggles (woven on it).  In the spring I think it will look good with white pants.

This is fabric that Mary gave me from one of the times I got to take stuff from her pool table. I added the border at the sleeves and made the pocket splice. Maybe too much but such is life.

Another long unfinished project I will finish tomorrow

Seriously, I think I started this when I started at the UW and that was at least 5 years ago. It is along sleeveless vest. The fabric has an asian print. I may add row of trim  a few inches above the hem.  Major accomplishment. Again, not a winter outfit but it  will be done!

Another long unfinished dress getting done

This is a basic baby doll dress. I started it this summer but got side tracked will other work.  I will finish tomorrow. I adde a band of the polka dot to the bottom of the sleeve. I think I will put a chest pocket on and add a green band on that.  I may not get to wear it until Spring 2014 but at least it will be another wrap of an unfinished project.

I will try for 5 this weekend, 6 next then I am good for 12K long distance training. And yes, I am calling 6 miles long distance.

I swear, I started this a year ago and never finished it.  So today I put the zipper in, made a facing and sewed it on and hemmed it.

I will do more project finishing today and run (since I have a few weeks to prepare to run  8 miles)

custom jeans dead.  I  made too many mistakes and it is taking more time to fix them than just code blue it and do a new pair right.  Rest in peace green jeans (and in all honesty, I sort of lost love for the color as I worked on it)

Yes, I am on vacation but I am determined to stay ahead on this. What a chore! It is fun at first but then after awhile it sucks but you have to finish it off.  I had to drag the full bags to the of the house.

This is a shirt I got from the Mary store years ago. I added yarn to the collar and pocket.  Totally spices an old shirt up.  Of course, when I iron it to wear it, it will look even better.

Here are pics from the thrashing of the Huskies by the Anteaters.  I was sick but went anyway. I did not go last night when they won.  Hopefully the Anteater loss was an anomoly. They had 3 guys over 7'. One dude was 7'6".

This is the prize I won at the raffle. A yarn applique foot and sparkle yarn. I am a winner!  I really wanted this too. I considered buying but instead all my raffle tickets in that bottle.

I will run 5 miles, I will not cry and the sports world will notice

Now the back yoke and waistband. So far they fit. I made the leg a little wider and I like the way they fall.

Not much time to sew tonight because I had a bike team board meeting and now I havet work out but I sewed the seam and did the DN topstitch - a fake felled seam.  I am dying to finish so I can wear them.  But not tonight.

Huskies Beat Seattle University

First regular game of the season.  My "area buddies" (Vikki and Tom, Alan and the nice couple to my right) are back!  Good victory excpet for the injury to Jerreau due to the cheap shot by the Seattle U Guard.
