This is from two pairs of old jeans. This is just the front. I may get some seahawks trim and add it to the ruffle.  So far this book has been really fun - I can make stuff from my stash and not have to buy a pattern. The instructions are really clear too. All super easy

I used my cover stitch a ton. It is easy now that I have done it more. This look sreally cute on.

Two flounces pinned on. I think this will be cute.  I used the cover stitch on the flounce hems.  I am getting better at it and it is so easy to set up on my fancy serger

this is a patter from the Magic Pattern Book.  Here is the pattern and the start I am doing. I am using the rest of the seahawks cotton I got.

I will make more stuff out of the fleece.

The two on the left are fleece. They will be hats for Brian and I and a coat for Kitty. The rest is cotton and will be a dress or something for me.

Huskies beat the ducks

After watching the sewhawks game, the stress of this one was almost too much. Thank heaven we won.

you can hardly see but Sean Kemp came again. I hope he comes all the time now.  He is teh buy in teh white shirt.

This is from an article in Threads about upcycling shirts (first photo).So I bought 3 shirts at goodwill and combined them into this. I really like it. It was easy and I love how the button plackets went on.

More on the hospital clothes

These is the project I am working on now. Designer sketch and the pattern I made. I had to make changes becasue the sketches were not done with production and fit and fabric in mind.

There are two more women's styles. I have the patterns made and all. I just need to finalize. I hope to finish them tonight.

So, I did patterns and muslins for 6 pieces. They turned out well.  Hard to tell from these photos but they are what was necessary. Now I will update the patterns.
