I decided to do the option that lets you wear these rolled up. It is pretty basic. Make tabs and sew then into the inside seam allowance, that you have sewn and finished.
And here is the pocket it will roll up to. With the oversized flap.
Every day I will sew or ride or workout (or a combo) for 1 hour in 2018. I will post proof here.

pockets
I got the leg seam sewn and pockets on. But I made the pockets and flaps before I found the instructions so the flap is too wide. I am not sure if I will sew it on.

sewing done
I had Brian deliver some repairs on Mercer Island to a happy customer. Then I made sure I sewed for me, numero uno. Finally. And Ranger helped me. Dogs were not a problem since Brian was around for awhile and we walked both critters.
I found the pattern instructions. Finally. No more guesswork. |

If nothing else I run or workout
I tried to do some repair sewing for clients tonight but that will not work. But I did do bike class tonight. Tomorrow I vow to finish 2 repair jobs then I will work on something for me. Those pants I started about 2 months ago.
This dog (love her)
combined with Brian's house sitting may be the end of me.

if nothing else, I run
The new dog and Brian housesitting are killing my sewing for myself time. I have 3 client things to do then, no more! All me.
Brian and I are doing a Seahawks 12 K in April. So, I went back on a training plan but the fact that I have kept knocking out 5 miles once a week since 12K's of Christmas has helped a ton.

trying to get back to posting
I have sewn and worked out but I just have sucked at posting. And I have been enjoying the afterglow of (as we call it) "Cold Blooded 2.0".
