Last week I was a total loser.  No exercise and no sewing. A total failure. But yesterday I took a new sewing client who I will meet today and I worked out! And I installed a squirrel baffle that is keeping them out of my bird feeder.

And today we re-initiated coffee on the front porch. We could not do that yesterday due to the hail.

Mariners Opening Day

I liked these seats the best of any we have had, even tough they were far up.  The new screen huge and awesome.  And of course, scooter parking was primo.  I definitely want to go to more this summer.  I have never been when it was hot.

I have sucked (again) but I did buy fabric

This weekend was too many errands and crap to get any free time. But I did pass my photoshop final and buy some fun new fabric at Tina's on Madison.

 This is a faux sparkly purple animal skin. Only about 1 yard left.

 This is really fun sparkly trim.

I did not put interfacing on them.  I may need to do understitching to get them to sit perfectly.

I even took the top part out and put it in again.All I have left is the sleeve facings and hem. I may finish it tonight.  Of course, it needs a cute sweater and for me to have a little color to my skin.

Not perfect but the fabric is so damn slippery it is tough.  Interesting fit issues since it is not a good top for a bra. I had to make it snug enough to stay on but loose enough in the front to not be too lurid. I think it is ok. It will definitely need a cute sweater or shrug to go with it.

The back.  I took it out and put it back in at least 3 times.
