I mail ordered these patterns yesterday

I like them. A little nicer than my usual summer stuff.

dress update

I re-positioned the bands. I also serged the seam allowances then stitched them down with a decorative stitch. I am still thinking of a orange dot band at the bottom. It is fun.

And I got my hair cut at Great Clips yesterday - $16 and I gave her an $8 tip.

Sunday

First off, I rode 1 hour yesterday on my trianer from 10 to 11 at night. Extra credit. And I will ride again tonight but not so late.

Today we made new curtains for Brian's window. Here is before and after.

And we also got new tomatos for the back in case the ones we already have do not thrive. Brian planted them.

Good weekend so far

I had a decent ride yesterday. Out and back on the trail but I met a former teammate/friend at my turn around point and so we rode back to Seattle together.

I also started this dress. I plan on using the orange dots as a small border on the bottom.  Bordering on clown like but I think it is fun.

I love this sparkly ruffle fabric. I made this in 15 minutes this morning. No hem - just cut it.  And elastic waist.  I have two more dresses planned with what I have left. I bet I will wear this all the time.

I still need to press this out. I may scrap it though. I am not sure I will like it and I found a perfect sweater at goodwill this weekend.  But maybe it will look once it is done and I put it on.
