I am putting new dress together

And yes, I worked out too.   Law and Order in the background as I rode my trainer.  I have started "running" again too.  I suck.  My objective is to out and back to turn around point I used to hit at 12 minutes (now hitting at 15!) at 13 then I will start adding distance.

I think this dress is cute.

I should get to start sewing tonight. Last night I had to finish a repair that was way harder than I thought it would be when I priced it. Oh well. 

I think this dress will be cute in warm weather.

I have been very committed to everything, except posting.  I rode 2x this weekend and am acutally feeling like I am verging on verging on being in ok bike shape. And I started "running" again.  Nothing dramatic but I am out there.

skirt pattern Mary gave me

This is what I am making it out of. It turns out the instructions had to be paid for so I just figured it out (as best I could) from the pattern and picture.  It will be cute when I is done. This is just it pinned to the dress form as I fly out the door to work.

This is the picture.  You can see I choose fun (cheap) fabric and somehow managed to get it with the other side folding over. But it is just the first stab at it.

Here is my dress. I wore it today and got lots of compliments.  The picture of me in the dress is very fuzzy. Trust me, it looked cute on.
