new dress

I had to sew something for myself after swatch-a-thon and all of the other projects. This is that same baby doll dress pattern I make all the time. Perfect for when I buy fabric and and am not sure what I will make. This is all fabric from the flat fold table at Pacifc Fabrics I thought was cute.

This is why I was not posting

Swatch, swatch, swatch. Over 500! Then  had to take them to the factory and have the operator put eyelets in them.  And there was no extras so we could not make one mistake. And I also had to handcut the pellon for backing.  But I got to keep all the thread ($250 worth). But finally I can sew other stuff now.

what I won for being a winner in the commuter challenge

I got the cooler and 2 thermoses. The first place guys got the seat. I would have won if I had not gone on vacation.
