Expo report

4 patterns and some sparkly stuff. 30 minutes of actual sewing at home. Tomorrow is a day of full of classes. I also picked up my sharpened scissors. $17 for 6 sets.

More organization and a ride

At 3 pm, in the rain, I got on my bike and rode a little less than 2 hours. Then on the way home I stopped at the gym.  Still no sewing but lots of organization. I did get my scissors sharpened. The sharpening guy comes to Pacific Fabric several times a year.  It is $2 for each pair.Not bad and he does a good job.

Day 2 of vacation

Focus organization.  I felt guilty sewing when I had all of the stuff I have procrastinated organizing staring at me. So today I went for it. I am still not 100% done but at least I can sew, guilt free tomorrow. And I have no out of house errands to do.  Home and sewing all day.

the bachelor is a punk, and a skank, and a dick

I hate him. I hate him.  How could he do that. He seems so insincere. I wish she would have smacked him.

Ok, I am back. First day of vacation and no sewing. I did over 50 miles on my bike last weekend and today was catching up on my life. I will be back to sewing tomorrow. I have not forsaken you.

But seriously, he is a dick.  How could they like/love him.

I am alive

I am keeping up with my pledge.  But I have sucked at posting.

Most of my sewing has been sewing for money -repairs.  And am also working on an idea for a bag to carry your smart phone in while riding. I want to tell you about this Mary.

I have been super good on working out. Saturday and today I did 30+ miles both days (which when I am fit is nothing - but not now!).  The last 90 minutes Saturday were in the pouring rain and today it was cold and I felt like it was headwind both ways. But Saturday it ate 1700 calories and today 1900. That is worth it.


Right now - Bachelor and replacing a zipper on a bike kit - for money.

valentine skirt

This is a one-time- wear thing. It is from a remnant on the reduced to clear table at Pacific Fabrics Outlet and a sweater I bought, then cut up, from St. Vincent de Paul years ago. And of course, a scrunchie from leftovers. I will finish it tonight or tomorrow am.

Last night I lifted at the gym. Tonight I will need to squeeze a trainer ride in in-between getting home from work and going to the Dawg game.  Come on Huskies. Get it together.

And my friend Mark was on TV last night.  He was worried how he would look because he had no shaved. I think he looked ok.

I am alive

I am making a valentine skirt out of that heart fabric I posted before. But it is too cut up to take a picture of. It will be done tonight and posted. Super simple as in tube skirt with elastic waist, but it will have sparkle fabric spliced on.  And I think I will have some sparkle arm warmers.

Spoiler alert - Bachelor. The bad girl got ejected. I was hoping it would have been at the Rose Ceremony and she would go postal but it was more private.  She seems psycho.

And I rode my trainer while I watched her get ejected.  Weights tonight.
