Still new sewing but I did something I have not done in about a year - I rode with my team! I got killed and fell back to the B (ok more like the C group) but I did it. And the front page of the Seattle Times does not say "Former Decent Cyclist Attempts Comeback But Boy,She Is Slow"!
It actually was fun and I burned of 1400 calories (quickly put back in with Superbowl beer and snacks).
This week I will get lots of sewing in.

ReplyDeleteyes. Every Saturday there is a race training ride that I used to do but have no intention of doing now. Sunday is a team ride and, although blistering, I can get in shape enough to hang onto if I stay at it for a month or two. I hope to come off the C group in a few weeks, then be with the B's and if I get super good, I can see the back end of the A's.
