lots of sewing this weekend

I am working on a dress for myself, motovista stuff and stuff for my client. I also managed to ride and "run" and help Brian move his mom's stuff.  (speaking of which - who is the handsome lad?)

seahawks training camp

All you pay is $7 for the bus ride from The Landing mall in Renton to the VMAC. It was really well organized. Loved it! Here are some photos.

I figured hem out. I needs to be a rolled hem - something I cannot on my machine (ah ha, excuse for new foot!). But my boss showed me a way to fake one. It looks way better. I also pressed it out.  Done!  Now I am doing another one for her (and 4 after that).

Last night I rode my trainer for an hour. So I have done all of my duties.

It was pretty basic but had lots of twists and turns. I think it turned out good.

New client

This is the homepage for the designer I am doing pattern work for. I love her designs and the fabric. And I even ran yesterday. An entire 20 minutes. But at least I did it.

Yes, my "super cute alert" photog was on duty this morning. Here it is  on. And the gusset. I showed our pattern maker and she approved and said it was not noticable.

Done and will be worn today!  I had to add panels at the side but I don't think they detract.  It is pull over dress - no zipper.  Somebody gave me the insect things ages ago. They are iron on. I embroidered around them and bedazzled.

Another project done. There is hope for me.

Weekend report

I am almost finished with a dress I made from one of the old patterns Mary got on ebay years ago.  I have pictures, they just aren't downloading. I will post them tomorrow. It is cute. I had to add side panels to fit in it.

Lots of riding this weekend too. 30 miles towards the south Saturday.

30 miles to the north today.

Flat riding but I was out there. This week since my drawing class is over I can run those nights and ride the others.

Lots of stuff going on

I wore my new dress to work today. Here are some shots of me before I took off.

I also finished my art class today. Here is what I did tonigh. The picture I used, my pencil sketch and color up.  Not great but I learned alot.

The tie is in. I think it will be ok even though it goes under the superlong zipper I put in before I remembered there was a tie. I put piping on the hem.  I like it.

where have I been?

After I worked Saturday am for a few hours I felt really crappy (headache) so I just laid down until I volunteered at the Bastille Bash. I got a walkie talkie and I helped in a lot of places.

I finally felt better Sunday afternoon and went out on my bike but I double flatted so I had to get a ride home from Brian. 

Last night I had drawing class.

I should finish this tonight (after a bike ride - I feel like a blob because I have missed 4 days of working out).  I forgot when I put the long exposed zipper on that there was a draw cord at the waist. We will see how this turns out.

I love riding in warm weather

Green Dress report

Yesterday the internet was giving me grief so this is a day late. Yesterday I gave blood and worked out.  (45min walk then weights). This dress is going well. I am a little worried about the depth of the CFopening though.    I am doing an exposed cammo motif zipper in the back and piping on the hem.
