A moment of silence

But not for the Huskies - we won again yesterday at a 2 pm game. So different walking to my scooter at 4 than 10:15 pm.

Poor little of 2 of 2.  He had a good life. You can barely see him in his grave though. He was sooo small.  And then there is Carl. I really wonder what life he had.
All of the other Fish (1 of 2, Marshawn Lynch, Earl Thomas, Kareem Abdul Jabar, Sue Bird, Emma from the Following) are well.

The graves (I had to make Carls even bigger whenhe got there)

You cant' even see 2 of 2's grave, it is so small.

I loved you both.

good news and bad news

Huskies beat the Ducks! Yea!!! But it was one of those 8 pm start times so I did not walk out of Hec Ed until after 10.  Blue Thunder played at Halftime and Quincy Pondexter was there.

Bad new, 2 of 2 died suddenly.  Primary suspect .. . I hate to say it but Chris Hansen. No longer close to death himself, he seems super perky.  My freezer is currently a pet morgue. One thing 1 foot long and about 2" round. The other one about 1/2" long and skinnier than a pencil

Services Saturday. Pictures will be posted.

Too much sewing and rip carl, the snake

I have been sewing the baby gift for our bike team president alot, mostly getting the embroidery done. I do not use that much to it takes me forever. I do want to upgrade to the latest machine this summer. I will put photos of that up later. Also, I took a job to knock this coat off for a lady. Extra money! Check this out. Brian found it in our garden Tuesday. I checked it out last night. It looks fake because it is so big and does not look like a snake you would find here. It is real! I took more photos then I put him in a bag in our freezer.I named him Carl and we are going to bury him Saturday next to Steve Blamer and Lauren Jackson. He deserved that much. I think it may have been a pet that escaped or something.
from the fence

to show how big he is. He died with his eyes open
He almost looks like a toy. But he is real.

face added

I learned how to take a face picture from the internet and turn it into an outline that I can paste into my drawing.

I took this face and put it in my drawing.  Not great but I am just using this to do all my practice.

another step

This lesson was adding shading. Needs work but I will improve.I also realized did the layers wrong with the other one so I fixed that.

Chris Hansen status update

Alive and swimming!  Maybe he was just tired.

Fish report

Chris Hansen has been looking slow. He is spending a little too much time hanging out at the bottom and not chasing Emma from the Following around. But he does not look bad, just old. I think he is a senior citizen fish and I love him. He may be joining Steve Balmer soon or he may just live into deep $1.49 Fish old age.

Photos from last week and more

Here are some photos from the warehouse when I worked there last week. I worked processing returns.  It was fun and interesting.

Then yesterday somebody drew this on the sidewalk in front of my house. Mysterious yet suspicious. What does it mean?

And I did work out. Short run on the treadmill at the gym and weights.

FINALLY, BACK TO NORMAL

I rode my trainer and watch Bachelor.  (How humiliating for the drunk girl). I also sewed in the morning and left work early so I could sew after I got home. I had to to finish a repair I needed to deliver at my bike team board meeting last night.

photoshop masking practice

Lots of news

Yesterday I felt like I sewed all day I was so busy at work solving problems. This is me and Yuk Fun. She has worked at Filson over 30 year and works on the Double Needle machine. She wants me to get pregnant with twins when I am in Idaho.
This is the muslin for dad's shirt and the shirt I used to make the pattern. I hope to have it sewn this weekend.
And a moment of silence. Steve Balmer left us yesterday. We could see it coming. He has been here since May of 2013 so I think he was at least a year old. He was a very good fish. We will bury him Saturday morning in a dedicated area in the front yard. Kitty and Brian will attend.  Memorial contributions to my Petco account.  He is currently in the freezer in this little envelope.

Another season of the Bachelor

All three followers of this blog are now doomed to a season of the Bachelor reports. It works out to watch it when I ride my trainer on Monday nights. So far, this guys is less nauseating than last year's guy. I stopped watching before it was over last night so I could go hang with Brian but I taped it. I also sewed on Dad's shirt.

45 minute trainer ride while watching The Bachelor. Something is wrong with that.

3 new fish

3 plattys (and they are hard to see in this photo) 2 females and 1 male.Chris Hansen is bugging Emma from The Following  to death so we are hoping adding 2 females will take the heat off the only female that had been there before.

6 miles without stopping

Very slow but my objective was to pace myself to do it with out stopping.  Or falling on my face

Ride report

I rode my trainer last night. Nothing exciting. Today no work out becaue I have the big kit sorting event at my house.  Tomorrow I will try for 6 miles.

I got this on super sale from one of those tv shopping shows. It came yesterday so I will wear it today.  The brand is "glitterscape".  Love it.

New aquarium plant

We got this yesterday and it looks better now.  The kids are ok with it. I have not seen them in it but they are not freaked out by it. Earl still loves the other plant and hangs out in it sometimes.

Dad's shirt pattern

I am going to cut it and make it out of muslin and bring it over this weekend or early next week. I can see how (if I am guessing correctly on the issue) I can add width to where the sholder and neck intersect so the shirt can cover that, lay flat and not pull up. There is lots of extra "dad" up there and I think that (in combo with his posture issues) that mess with the fit.
